Fleet & Mobility start-up ‘let it fleet’ launches fleet management platform ‘Headlight’

Since the creation of let it fleet in 2020, the team has been supporting companies on their journey towards zero emission corporate mobility. Whether it is the electrification of the fleet, or setting up alternative mobility, customers ranging from 25 to +4000 employees have entrusted them to analyze, plan and implement it. “Previously, we could be seen as ‘corporate mobility architects’, helping companies in setting up strategic plans. With the launch of Headlight, we can now also support organizations with the operational execution of those new strategies” says CEO Wim Buzzi.

Throughout their careers, co-founders Wim Buzzi & Alain Duez both earned their spurs in the field of international fleet procurement and fleet management. “As Fleet & Mobility managers, we often felt that fleet software and services did not meet our needs and expectations. The lack of software capabilities in the market that seemed so self-evident to us was the team’s main motivation for the creation of our own product, says Buzzi.

Seamless corporate mobility

With Headlight, fleet managers can digitally configure and manage their car policy budgets (TCO) and have a clear view on which vehicles are available in which budget level. Next, employees can order company cars, from budget exploration, configuration to the digital approval cycle of the best quotes. “Headlight supports multi-supplier configurations by design. The parallel communication and processing of quotes is taken care of by the software. This saves time and effort, but more importantly, significant cost savings because of the multi-bidding for each order”, Buzzi mentions. An important feature of the platform is that it allows you to flexibly configure all your fleet-related processes within Headlight. “Headlight workflows can be set up in your way, aligning processes, workflows and systems with how you’ve always delivered fleet excellence”, Buzzi adds. “With built-in task management, notification and communication systems, companies can seamlessly manage their fleet from one place”, Buzzi concludes.

Expertise meets technology

Headlight was fully developed in-house. Co-founders Thibault Degrande and Timo Latruwe, who have a research background in computer science, provide the required technical expertise. “The combination of fleet experience and technical expertise is what makes our team uniquely placed for launching a fleet management platform”, comments Buzzi. Soon, Headlight also plans to support alternative corporate mobility options.
